Freedom Surgical partners with Olena Medical

Freedom Surgical Center (FSC) has established a collaborative relationship with Olena Medical, a physician-owned provider of anesthesia, pain management and other medical specialties.

Olena Medical will provide FSC with comprehensive anesthesia services, including pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative anesthesia care and comprehensive post-operative management.

“Our goal is to provide anesthesia care that not only meets technical standards but also puts patients’ comfort and dignity first,” Dr. Paul Langevin, CEO of Olena Medical, said in a statement. “The surgeons and staff at Freedom Surgical Center share that focus on their patients and provide a novel outpatient surgical environment that delivers a level of patient care far and above that typical in surgery centers.”

Olena Medical specializes in ambulatory anesthesia and perioperative services in New Jersey, Texas and other locations across the country.

Freedom Surgical Center is an outpatient surgical facility in Bloomfield, New Jersey, with an emphasis on neurosurgery.

NAPA Anesthesia partners with SightMD

North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) will provide anesthesia services on Dec. 1 at two SightMD facilities: Long Island Ambulatory Surgery Center in Brentwood, New York, and Suffolk Surgery Center in Shirley, New York.

Through a data warehouse and a nationally recognized quality program, NAPA transforms information into insights that enhance efficiency, continuous improvement and patient experience. Combined with NAPA’s industry-leading revenue cycle platform, powered by automation and anesthesia-specific expertise, these capabilities drive accuracy, compliance and a patient-centered billing experience.

“Partnering with NAPA brings operational and clinical excellence that allows us to continue serving our community with the highest quality of ophthalmological care,” Dr. Jeffrey Martin, president and co-founder of SightMD, said in a press release. “Their depth of knowledge and commitment to innovation make them an ideal choice for expanding our network.”

Headquartered in Sunrise, Florida, NAPA’s nearly 5,000 clinicians serve more than 2 million patients annually at nearly 400 health care facilities in 23 states.

NorthStar Anesthesia teams up with Bayhealth

NorthStar Anesthesia announced a partnership with Bayhealth in Dover, Delaware, enhancing anesthesia services for patients and surgical teams in the region.

Leading up to the Nov. 10 launch, the retention of incumbent physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) has reportedly been successful.

“At NorthStar, our mission has always been to partner with health systems that share our commitment to clinical quality, collaboration, and operational excellence,” said Dr. Josh Lumbley, chief quality officer at NorthStar Anesthesia, in a press release. “Bayhealth’s focus on patient-centered care aligns perfectly with our values, and we’re proud to bring our care-team model to support their mission of serving Delaware communities.”

NorthStar Anesthesia employs over 4,000 anesthesiologists and CRNAs and partners with more than 280 health care clients across over 20 states.

“We’re excited to welcome NorthStar Anesthesia as a trusted partner in elevating anesthesia services across our system,” Dr. John Fink, interim chief medical officer and vice president of quality and medical affairs at Bayhealth, said. “This partnership is already making an impact – we’ve seen strong recruitment results, a smooth transition for our clinical teams and a shared commitment to improve the patient experience from day one.”

The partnership leverages NorthStar’s clinician-led model and performance-based approach to help Bayhealth improve operating room efficiency, support clinical quality and boost provider satisfaction.
