Techsomed, Medtronic partner on ablation therapy
Techsomed Ltd., a medical AI-powered software company specializing in image-guided therapy, announced a collaboration with Minneapolis-based Medtronic.
The pilot collaboration brings together Techsomed’s BioTraceIO360 software and the Medtronic Emprint microwave ablation system as a solution for image-guided ablation therapy.
By using Techsomed’s planning, visualization and margin confirmation software along with the Emprint ablation system, interventional radiologists will reportedly gain advanced capabilities for real-time visualization, predictive margin control, dynamic treatment planning and scalable, spherical ablation zones, enabling optimal treatment outcomes.
“In collaboration with Medtronic, we aim to set a new standard for minimally invasive ablation treatment — founded on data, not guesses,” Yossi Abu, CEO and founder of Techsomed, said in a press release.
Techsomed is a worldwide medical imaging software company located in Tel Aviv, Israel.
PayrHealth and DocSpera collaborate to enhance patient outcomes in ASCs
Payer management solution PayrHealth and the intelligent surgical coordination SaaS platform DocSpera have formed a strategic partnership to support ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) as they navigate Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements for patient outcomes reporting.
Starting in 2027, CMS will require ASCs to collect patient-reported outcomes for at least 45% of Medicare patients undergoing procedures like total knee and hip replacements, including pre-operative, interim and one-year post-operative results.
Because CMS requires a full year of follow-up data, ASCs must start collecting outcomes early to set benchmarks, improve workflows and ensure compliance.
Through this partnership, DocSpera and PayrHealth will jointly deliver an automated, end-to-end solution enabling ASCs to identify eligible Medicare patients via electronic medical record (EMR) integration.
Furthermore, ASCs will collect patient-reported outcomes using easy-to-use text surveys and mobile-friendly tools that don’t require patients to download extra apps. They will monitor outcomes over 30-, 60-, 90-day, and one-year periods, automate reporting directly to CMS, and use outcome data for benchmarking to improve negotiations with commercial payers.
“CMS is raising the bar for patient outcomes tracking, and many ASCs are not prepared for this change,” Samuel Ethiopio, CEO of DocSpera, said. “Centers that delay until 2027 to start capturing data will be too late; they need to begin establishing benchmarks now to avoid penalties and show performance.”

Dialog Health announces results from trackable short link technology
Dialog Health, a health care communications solutions company based in Franklin, Tennessee, shared new findings showing the impact of its trackable short link technology.
Analysis of nearly 250,000 messages sent through the platform reportedly shows that health care organizations are using the company’s links to drive measurable engagement, streamline workflows, strengthen patient relationships and improve financial performance at every stage of care.
Developed with input and recommendations from ASC and hospital leaders, short links allow health care providers to drop, send and monitor links directly within the Dialog Health platform.
Through a built-in dashboard, staff can monitor how many patients click links and how often, providing real-time insights into which content generates the most engagement and value.
“This technology is helping our partners strengthen patient connections and drive measurable outcomes,” Sean Roy, co-founder and CEO of Dialog Health, said in a press release. “By understanding how and when patients engage with critical information, they can improve communication, reduce inefficiencies and deliver better care experiences.”
