GI Alliance has opened a new ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and managed clinic in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Developed in partnership with MedCore Partners, the facility brings together surgical and clinical services under one roof, offering a streamlined experience for gastroenterology patients from consultation through post-operative recovery, executives said in a press release.
The center includes multiple operating rooms, pre-op and recovery suites, and integrated digital systems to support efficient, high-quality care. The adjacent clinic will provide specialty consultations, pre-surgical evaluations and follow-up visits, all designed to improve continuity of care and reduce delays for patients.
GI Alliance works with 800 independent gastroenterologists in 17 states.

Slocum Orthopedics moves forward with new 10-OR surgery center
Slocum Orthopedics is advancing plans to build a 42,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center in northeast Eugene, a project that would significantly expand the physician-owned group’s surgical footprint.
Site plans filed with the city show the forthcoming single-story facility will include up to 10 operating rooms and 30 pre- and post-operative bays, positioning Slocum to handle a higher volume of outpatient musculoskeletal procedures in a dedicated setting.
The new center, located on a six-acre parcel Slocum acquired in 2023, would mark a shift from the group’s current flagship on Coburg Road, which it leases.
While Slocum has not publicly commented on the expansion, its city filings indicate plans to apply for building permits this summer, with construction potentially underway by mid-2026, local news reported.
The practice currently includes more than two dozen physicians and currently offers urgent care, physical therapy, sports medicine and imaging services in addition to surgery.
