DermCare Management has partnered with Contour Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center, adding the group to its already large footprint.
Bringing Contour Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center into its network gives DermCare Management four additional locations within the Southern California market. Overall, DermCare Management has a presence across Florida, Texas and Virginia, in addition to California, with 81 locations in total.
Dr. Timothy Jochen and a team of 18 providers from Contour will join DermCare Management.
“We are excited to add Dr. Jochen and the entire team at Contour Dermatology to our family of practices,” Jeffrey Schillinger, CEO of DermCare Management, said in a press release. “Dr. Jochen represents the best of the best, and we’re delighted he chose DermCare to be his partner. Our focus remains on supporting our physicians and their goals, enabling them to provide top-quality care.”
Schillinger added that his organization is “excited to build on these partnerships” and connect with more physicians who align with DermCare’s mission.
“This partnership allows us to keep doing what we do best while having the support to grow and reach more patients,” Jochen said in the release.
Contour Dermatology was represented by Physician Growth Partners (PGP) as part of the M&A process. Founded in 2017, PGP has advised more than 60 practices in successful transactions with private equity and strategic partners, according to the press release.
DermCare’s founding physicians are Dr. Martin Zaiac, Dr. Francisco Kerdel and Dr. Eduardo Weiss.
DermCare had recently added to its footprint in July, adding three new practice partnerships in Florida and Texas. In Florida, those additions included Bassin Plastic Surgery in Orlando and Boyne Dermatology in Jacksonville. In Texas, DermCare added Longhorn Dermatology in Spicewood.
Other DermCare partner practices include ADF Dermatology and Skin Surgical Center, Skin & Beauty Center, Westchester Dermatology and several others.
